Our ambitions and progress:

  1. All Schools, Parish and Town Councils will have set a net zero target and developed plans by 2030.

All schools are required to develop plans from September 2025.

  1. The industry and commercial sectors average at least a 4% annual reduction in COâ‚‚e emissions, from a 2022 baseline.

Emissions from the Industry, Commercial and Agriculture sector combined have fallen by 52.4% since 2005.

  1. Over 90% of residents and businesses are aware of climate change and how they can take meaningful action by 2030.

66% of residents in the borough felt informed about climate change. 92% were prepared to take action on climate change.
