Meet the team

Karin has worked at the Borough Council for a number of years and is an experienced environmental professional leading on climate change. She is passionate about achieving a low carbon future and driving the change towards an equitable and sustainable society.

Karin supports the Borough Partnership and elected Members in directing the council’s response to the climate emergency by developing carbon reduction strategies both within the organisation and for the wider Borough area. Karin has an in-depth knowledge of the UK policy landscape and opportunities available for carbon reduction.

Amy joined the team in September 2021 after graduating from Keele University with a degree in Environment and Sustainability.

Since starting her role, Amy has helped develop the TWBC Climate Action website alongside leading TWBC’s Great Big Green Week events, and is currently developing the borough-wide climate strategy alongside Karin.

Amy is excited to work with the new Tunbridge Wells Borough partnership to discuss and implement actions which can support low carbon communities.
