Starting the journey of decarbonising your business can be overwhelming, but TWBC can help. We have a team of officers who can offer advice on where to begin. Annual grant schemes promote the implementation of best practices. These provide the platform for either changes to business practice or purchasing new tools/materials to improve the efficiency of the building or operations.

Climate action requires a community-based approach, with input from stakeholders across the community being essential for the borough to reach net zero. Engaging with groups, schools, businesses, and individuals to broaden our reach will be crucial in creating shared values and fostering collective action throughout the borough.

It is vital that everyone has their voices heard, across all locations, and inclusive of all demographics. We will be championing the great work already going on throughout the borough, whilst empowering others to take part.

The Love Where We Live Awards honour those who make this borough a wonderful place to live and work. These awards recognise individuals, groups, businesses, and organisations dedicated to helping others in the community, benefiting the environment, or achieving personal milestones.
