The atmospheric Oare Marshes are an important habitat for overwintering and breeding wetland birds, and are of international significance. Discover how the resident cattle are helping to create habitats for a wide range of species, and the benefits of the reserve’s mix of grazing marsh, reedbed and saltmarsh. You’ll notice the remains of Oare’s past as part of the gunpowder industry, and consider its future as you see the evidence of rising sea levels.
