Henry SaundersSustainability Manager
Henry has worked in Local Government for a number of years and is a dedicated sustainability professional, with demonstratable experience leading on climate change. He is passionate about achieving net zero and driving change towards a better, more sustainable future for the council and its residents.
Henry will be working to direct the council’s response to the 2019 climate emergency declaration by developing and implementing the Borough Climate Change Strategy, whilst also driving corporate carbon reduction strategies and interventions. Henry has detailed knowledge of the climate change issues facing the UK and wider opportunities available to the council to drive and deliver climate action.
Jessica BerryGraduate Climate Change Officer
Jess joined the team in April 2024 after graduating from University with a passion for environmental sustainability.
Since starting her role, Jess has assisted with the TWBC’s Literature Festival Sustainability Event, alongside composing in-depth texts purposed with informing the borough on the greenest practices to adopt.
Jess is looking to further expand the TWBC Climate Action website, introducing new features to engage the public and showcase how others can get involved in the fight against climate change.
